"Lupifaro Evo Reeds are an evolution of our previous Lupifaro Jazz. We modified the cut in order to obtain even more vintage sounds and a feeling closer to old school reeds."
To obtain this new cut the milling machines’ settings were pushed to their technical limits and some reeds may present an irregular cut on its back (more square rather than “U” shaped like classic unfiled cuts). This unusual aesthetic difference does not affect in any way the sound quality and shall not be considered a defect. The cane we used is a natural raw material and is never perfectly regular in shape.

Good reeds but excellent customer service
Still new to the Saxophone and still trying various reeds to find the best that suits me. Recently ordered 4 Lipifaro reeds, 2.5 x 2 and 3.0 x2. when they arrived they had sent 2.0 x2 and 2.5 x2. i called them to query the order and a very helpful guy on the other end sorted the issue in seconds and dispatched two 3.0 which arrived the next day, apologised for the mix up and said i could keep the 2.0's and maybe find somebody who could use them rather than post them back. That's excellent service in anybody's book
