D'Addario Alto. Reserve Reeds
I was using these when they were Rico. After the change to D'Addario I had to come down a half size. The Organic status has only affected the price not the quality. Their hardness rating sits half way between vandoren classic hardness ratings, which suits me fine. They are quite consistent throughout a box and last well. They have a very flexible tone pallet on my set up. I'm using a 2 on a Soloist D on a yam 25. Lovely rich subtone and easy altissimo. They have just enough darkness to take the edge off the natural brightness of the Yamaha. I can't fault them. A little expensive but the player circle points help with the occasional box.
