This is a C. G. Conn New Wonder II tenor sax made in 1926 in Elkhart, Indiana, USA.
It has had a complete restoration by legendary sax tech Rupert Noble (the complete works! new premium quality calf pads, felts/corks, toneholes - everything perfectly worked on to bring this horn to optimal playability) costing over £500.00.
This is from the great period of Conn manufacturing and is a lovely example of a classic NWII. This one plays great - big, velvety tone, slick action, great intonation. There's nothing like a classic Conn!
Not a "museum" piece, has it's fair share of little knocks and bruises, couple of post resolders etc. BUT a very solid machine - a great classic vintage horn with all the work done!
Comes complete with super clean Hiscox flight case and of course, our famous 12 month warranty!
