This is a C. G. Conn M series Transitional model (manufactured in the classic period when Conn were moving from the New Wonder II to the 6m) alto sax made in 1929 in Elkhart, Indiana, USA.
It has just had a full restoration (the complete works! new premium quality calf pads, felts/corks, posts realigned, springs, toneholes - everything perfectly worked on to bring this horn to optimal playability) by legendary sax guru Rupert Noble costing over £500.00.
This is from the great period of Conn manufacturing and is a superb example of a classic NWII Transitional. This one plays incredibly well - super slick, positive action, spot on intonation and an absolute classic, killer, Conn tone! It can go loud and punchy or warm and fluffy with incredible speed - a really responsive pro sax!
This sax is in lovely condition - very clean, a few little scuffs and so on but no horrible dings or dents - a fine example of a Conn, it looks great with a nice, authentic, slightly faded patina.
Comes complete with brand new shaped Gator flight case with shoulder strap and of course, our famous 12 month warranty!
